Book One

Parch was somehow born with magic fire abilities. He and his brothers, Scorch and Scald, are the only ones who know… and they must keep it a secret for the sake of Parch’s life. Parch sets out to discover what happened to his world’s magic all those centuries ago, and with any luck, temper his own.
And in the distant and enchanted past, Wizard Aurin Auralbion undertakes his own journey when his kingdom is menaced by a lava-spewing monster. His quest and Parch's are ultimately connected, though the two of them are separated by so much time and space.

Book Two

With his magical Dragonfire discovered in a terrible accident, Parch flees from his home in Amber Archipelago with his brother Scorch and best friend Flytfrie, aiming to find the means to be rid of the burning powers that have plagued his life. His other brother Scald, estranged and alone, desperately seeks out magic for reasons of his own.
In the magical past, kingdom Dayvale still suffers under the oppression of lava-beast Aorghar. The Wizard Aurin Auralbion seeks to train an army of enchanted sword bearers to combat the menace, but finds the solution in an unexpected place.

Book Three

In Fonnfell, where brown haze chokes the air and wayward technology rules a civilization, Parch, his brother Scorch, and their friend Kanyu are to discover some non-technological marvels, and none too soon. Meanwhile, estranged brother Scald, still seeking Dragonfire for himself, must come to terms with what he finds instead.The past kingdom Dayvale has been freed at last from the grip of the tyrant Aorghar, and Aurin the Wizard takes a personal pilgrimage to reclaim his peace. But he returns to find that his troubles, and that of his kingdom, are far from over.
